Family Name Options
The standard for the name plaques are as follows:
- Establish Date stands for Marriage date and start of the family.
- A "s" is added to the end of the name with no apostrophe. Adding a "s" makes
the name plural, as in more than one member and goes with Marriage date.
| I use this standard because the plaque can always be taken with you if you decide to move from a particular house. It also is formatted for a wedding gift. |
Apostrophe "s" :
- Makes name possesive, as in The Smith's, (House)
- In which, "Establish" means "build date" of house.
